Spiders are a special enemy originating from Zetsubou No Shima. These enemies have the appearance of a Black Widow, but with some interesting enhancements.

Spawn Behavior

In Zetsubou No Shima, spiders have their own dedicated special round which can be on Round 5-7 then every 5 rounds after that. They will then start spawning within the normal rounds after Round 20. In Revelations, spiders exclusively spawn within the Apothicon and only every 2-3 rounds. Once they appear that will spawn pretty frequently during that round but not again until the next "Spider round" within the apothicon.

Combat Strategy

Spiders have low health, but quick speed, which can make them harder to hit than most zombies. If you struggle to hit these little critters, a shotgun can be helpful, allowing you to worry less about being precise. Otherwise, avoid their Web Shot, and you should have no trouble dealing with these enemies.
