Call of the Dead
Ensemble Cast
The main quest for Call of the Dead is called Ensemble Cast. During this quest, the goal of the celebrity crew is to free the Ultimus crew from the map after accidentally teleporting too far in time.
Requirements
This quest can only be completed with two or more players, you'll also need to acquire the V-R11 from the mystery box to complete this quest fully. You must have turned on the power to begin this quest.
Fuse Step
Head over to where PhD Flopper is located and beneath that room, you'll find a locked door that you must knife to receive some dialogue from Richtofen explaining that the teleporter sent them too far in time and that they are now trapped inside a dark room.
After knifing the door and receiving the dialogue you must now find a fuse that can spawn in one of the following three locations:
Once you've found the fuse and picked it up, bring the fuse back down to the door and place it inside the fuse box to the right of the door. Afterward, knife the door again to receive more dialogue and complete the step.
Generator Step
Before attempting this step, you're going to need any explosive device, listed below are all the explosives that are available to you on the map from either wall buys or the mystery box
Frag Grenades
Semtex Grenades
RPG
China Lake
Crossbow
Scavenger
RayGun (may not count as explosive damage for this step as it does for the golden rod step)
Matryoshka Dolls (may not count as explosive damage for this step as it does for the golden rod step)
Once you have an explosive device you are ready to complete this step. You need to destroy four generators that have glowing red lights on them by using the explosive. Each of the four generator locations are listed below:
After destroying all four generators, head back to the Ultimus door and knife it once again to receive more dialogue and complete the step.
Vodka Step
After knifing the door, Nikolai asks for some vodka. You can find the vodka stuck into ice in one of the following locations:
To collect the vodka, one player needs to be standing directly under the vodka while another player knifes the vodka to break it out of the ice sending it down to the player below to catch.
If the player fails to catch the vodka, another one will spawn at one of the alternate locations, simply find it and try again until you succeed.
After collecting the vodka, you must bring it back to the Ultimus door, insert the vodka into a transfer tube to the left of the door, and then knife the door once again to complete the step and receive more dialogue.
Radios Step
Four Morse Code radios must be activated in a specific order, if done successfully Morse code can be heard, and a glowing yellow ellipse can be seen near the Mule Kick machine.
The locations of the four radios that you must activate in order are as follows:
Lever Step
Make your way to the power room and find a console that has three levers on top of it, pull the left lever down once, and the right lever down three times while leaving the middle lever untouched.
Then go to the steering wheel and turn the wheel to the right twice so that the brown handle faces 5 o'clock.
If done correctly you should hear a foghorn, and a submarine should surface out of the water.
Foghorn Step
The foghorn sound from the previous step created by the submarine must be matched by activating the foghorns around the map in a specific order. To do this, fog must be active on the map and the submarine must be surfaced.
The foghorn locations in order are:
If done successfully the submarine should now be shining a mysterious green light at the top of the lighthouse. If you activated the foghorns incorrectly or the submarine has not surfaced, go to the next round and it should reset.
Dial Step
You must now set the security dials in the lighthouse (one on each floor) to their proper code from the top floor to the bottom floor of 2746. Each dial has a color assigned to it from top to bottom:
Yellow (top floor)
Orange
Blue
Purple (bottom floor)
This step can be extremely tedious as when one dial is changed all the dials below and above that dial will have their current number increased by one.
For the dials to reach the proper code of 2746 you must follow these steps:
Turn the Purple dial until it is at the number 6
Turn the Orange dial until the Blue dial is at the number 4
Turn the Yellow dial until the Orange dial is at the number 7
Turn the Yellow dial until it is at the number 2 while counting the number of times you turned it to reach that number
Turn the Purple dial the same number of times as the Yellow dial was last turned
Turn the Blue dial until it is at the number 4
The outcome should be the proper code 2 (yellow dial) 7 (orange dial) 4 (blue dial) 6 (purple dial) from top to bottom. If done correctly, the submarine's green light should now be reflecting into the lighthouse down the middle of the spiral stairs.
Golden Rod Step
Using the V-R11, you must shoot a zombie inside or around the lighthouse turning it into a human and it should then run into the lighthouse and then into the green light from the submarine and begin getting sucked up towards the top of the lighthouse.
You must damage the human with explosives while it's being sucked up until it looks like a downed player, then a golden rod will appear at the bottom of the lighthouse and you'll need to pick it up and bring it to the Ultimus door.
Final Step
Once at the Ultimus door, put the Golden Rod into the transfer tube to the left of the door. You'll then receive some dialogue from Richtofen which you'll have to wait to finish before continuing.
Once the dialogue is complete the fuse box to the right of the door should start sparking, knife the fuse box to fix it. Afterward, you'll receive some more dialogue and once that is finished you should receive a power-up in front of the door granting you the Wunderwaffe DG-2.
